Darren has done several jobs for me. The first was in May 2023 when he did site work and leveled my sloping property for the installation of my modular home.

He returned in October 2023 to level for my back patio and garage site. He moved all the excess dirt to the front yard and leveled it. He built a beautiful stone masonry retaining wall around the patio. While he was here he also replaced the culvert in the alley that leads to my driveway for the Township.

In July 2024, he removed the gravel and dirt between my porch steps and the garage. He built a wall in front of my flower bed and installed a concrete sidewalk.

Darren is very professional, meticulous and precise. He does outstanding work at a very reasonable price. He is extremely talented and can "pick up a dime" with his backhoe.

My wife and I purchased a property an hour and a half from home. This property has a very steep driveway that had declined from lack of maintenance of the natural rain runoff. I needed to locate a contractor that was capable of the challenge. I was not familiar with anyone in this area. I spent a fair amount of time searching on the internet. I decided to do something I never do, go to reviews. Anyone can leave a good or bad review

I take them with a grain of salt. I selected three and contacted all three of them. One never looked at the project even though his shop is about two miles away. The second is one mile away. He provided a competitive bid. Darren drove about an hour and fifteen minutes to meet me early one morning. We walked the project and discussed solutions to correct the problems. We also discussed improvements that will prevent future issues. Having years of construction background and project management, I could tell Darren was knowledgeable in grading and excavation. Darren was awarded the work. He showed up one week later. I was on site to provide access and be available because there was no cell or wifi available. I immediately saw that Darren was indeed a skilled operator. I watched him work and could tell that he was mentally several steps ahead of what he was doing. An example would be placing spoil in an area that provided a future pad to place his excavator. Darren was THE guy I was hoping I could find. I am very pleased with the finished product. I am going to say that I believe that it would be very difficult to find anyone better than Darren. I never do reviews. I am leaving this review because Darren is also the guy you need for this type of work. Price? Very competitive. This is a contractor that you can feel comfortable not having to look over his shoulder constantly to get what you pay for. Thanks again Darren for a job well done.
